Btw being aromantic means you don't feel ROMANTIC attraction towards anyone, but that doesn't mean you don't feel deep emotional attraction to other humans, deep friendship, queerplatonic relationships, squishes or whatever, all of these are deep emotional connections. Aromantics are perfectly able to "love" other people, they just don't "fall in love", They might like someone a whole lot, but they will not feel “romantic” towards them. I hope this makes sense, it's kinda hard to explain.
Thank you for your reply.
I don’t think I made it clear in my post, but I don’t doubt my ability to make emotional connections with people in my life. I love my family and my close friends. Just not… romantically. (Obviously, I guess) I’ve never made that “love” connection everyone I know talks about.
But the way you worded it really did help a lot actually. Thank you. :)
